Graduate of The University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Biology. I have researched blue crab populations in college, studied the vast diversity of invertebrates, and have went the extra mile to further expand my knowledge so that I can pass it down to the next generation.
Experience
I have taken various courses on biology, ecology, zoology, marine biology, algebra, calculus, trigonometry, English, study skills, chemistry, and many more! I want to be a tutor because I believe my hands on approach to subjects will help a student not only excell in the classroom, but will be able to retain the knowledge and use it in their everyday life. I Plus I have great stories from my experience in Alaska as a Shellfish Observer where I spent weeks on the Bering Sea collecting biological data on crab vessels (ones seen on the show Deadliest Catch).

I grew up with my parents being both teachers so I understand the secrets to tests and what it takes to better yourself in the classroom. Fun facts: I enjoy gardening, reading, exploring, and anything outdoors. I LOVE biology, and if we all look hard enough, we can see every aspect of science and math all around us.
